Police are investigating an overnight shooting in the northeast community of Martindale.
Officers rushed to the 0-100 block of Martin Crossing Park N.E. around 3:55 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. Multiple residents called 911 to report gunfire outside a home.
Investigators believe the suspect fled the neighborhood in a dark vehicle immediately after the shooting.
Fortunately, no one suffered injuries during the discharge. Police have not arrested any suspects so far.
Early evidence suggests a shooter targeted the home specifically. Therefore, investigators do not suspect a random threat to the broader community.
Police continue to gather evidence at the scene. Police are asking anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from the area to contact officers or submit tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
